The oscillating process applied after shearing is the action of winding one turn at a time and layer by layer the metal like a coil of wire. It allows to wind longer lengths of strip than on a traditional coil.
It brings a consequent gain in productivity since it avoids machine stoppages and allows automatic unwinding of the coil.
